What Restyler stores
Restyler saves the following only on your device, using Chrome's local extension storage (chrome.storage.local):
- The hostnames of websites you restyle, and when you last changed them
- Your style changes for each site: the CSS selector and a short text label for each element you pick, the colors, sizes and visibility you chose, quick-style settings (dark mode, hide images, text size), any custom CSS you write, and whether Restyler is on or off for that site
- Your theme choice for the Restyler popup (Bright, Dark or Auto)
What Restyler does not do
- It does not send any data to the developer or any third party. Restyler makes no network requests.
- It does not use analytics, tracking, advertising or cookies.
- It does not sell, share or transfer your data.
- It does not require an account or sign-in.
Site icons
The "All sites" list shows site icons from Chrome's own local favicon cache. No request is made to the websites or to any outside service to fetch them.
Deleting your data
You can remove any site's changes from the extension's "All sites" tab. Uninstalling Restyler deletes all of its stored data.
Changes to this policy
If this policy changes, the updated version will be posted on this page with a new date.
